Symptoms

When you attempt to import files into a selected folder, the files are imported into a different folder than you expect. For example, if you switch from Page view to Folders view, select a folder, and then import the files, the files are imported into the folder that you selected in Page view rather than the folder that you selected in Folders view.

Cause

FrontPage reverts back to the folder list that you were viewing when you opened the Web to determine where to import files. The folder list is the left pane in Page view, Folders view, Navigation view, or Hyperlinks view. If you open the Web in Page view, FrontPage reverts back to the folder tree in Page view.
