Summary

Firmware updates are available to improve the performance and stability of Microsoft Surface Pro 4 devices.

The following updates are now available:

  • Intel Corporation driver update for Intel AVStream Camera 2500
  • Intel Corporation driver update for Intel Control Logic
  • Intel Corporation driver update for Intel CSI2 Host Controller
  • Intel driver update for Intel Imaging Signal Processor 2500
  • Intel Corporation driver update for Microsoft Camera Front
  • Intel Corporation driver update for Microsoft Camera Rear
  • Intel Corporation driver update for Microsoft IR Camera Front
  • Microsoft driver update for Surface Camera Windows Hello
These updates address the following issues that were reported to Microsoft:

  • After the device resumes from sleep, the camera does not work correctly.
  • After you do some video recording and playback, the audio and visual features can become out-of-sync.
  • After you take multiple photos by having HDR enabled, photo previews are overexposed.
  • Windows Hello seems to freeze indefinitely on the logon screen at the "Turning on Camera?" message.
  • Auto exposure can fail when the scene includes two faces. This typically causes one face to become overexposed.
  • After you use the touch-to-focus/expose command, and then you cancel the selection of the command, Auto Focus returns to Continuous mode but Auto Expose remains locked.
  • The Photo HDR control not enabled in the Camera application on a device that has VPS support.
