Symptoms

Error in Management Reporter 2012 integration log:

Index cannot be created on view 'ReportingVirtualDataAreaView1' because the underlying object 'DIRPARTYTABLE' has a different owner.

Cause

This will occur when the Dynamics AX database resides on SQL 2008 R2 and earlier and the Dynamics AX integration account specified in the deployment is different from the account running the AOS.

Resolution

Run the following script on the Dynamics AX database to grant authorization on the ReportingIntegration schema to dbo:

ALTER AUTHORIZATION ON SCHEMA::ReportingIntegration TO dbo

More Information

This error only occurs on SQL 2008 R2 and earlier.
