Stop error D1 when you try to stop Lync Edge services gracefully in Lync Server 2013

Symptoms

This issue occurs when you run the Stop-CsWindowsService -Graceful cmdlet to stop a Lync Server service on a Microsoft Lync Server 2013 Edge server.

In this situation, you receive Stop error D1 on the Edge server, and then the server restarts.

Cause

This issue occurs because of a bug in RtcMRDrv.

Resolution

To fix this issue, install the April 2016 cumulative update 5.0.8308.956 for the Lync Server 2013, Front End Server and Edge Server.
