Reserve of doubtful debts RAS/TAX for IFRS adoption in Russia is available in the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3

To provide the possibility for different calculation algorithms for different types of accounting it the Accounting models were used in design.

The models should be set up in different ways according to accounting policy.

1. Set up the Business accounting model and Tax model

(AR > Setup > AR Parameters > Ledger and sales tax/Debtor debts)

2. Based on the accounting policy for every model user should setup:

(AR > Setup > Debt accounting models)

· The scope of documents, which has to be included in doubtful debts calculation. This specific may be specified on the level of Agreement, Group of agreement, and Type of agreement.

· The registers calculation period may be different for different models

· Posting profiles

· Debts intervals and percent of debts for doubtful debts reserves calculation

· The limit of the total sum for reserve

· Type of calculation – in total or by document

3. Set up Posting profiles for tax differences creating and writing off (GL > Setup > Profit tax > Ledger posting group of profit tax)

4. The registers will be created for every model

5. Calculate the tax difference registers. The difference between the doubtful debts registers are reflected in the Tax differences registers. The result will be posted according to setup in p.3.

6. The debts writing off and cancel writing should be done before .registers calculation.

7. The register tree includes the registers in different models.
