File validation Tool version (FVU) 4.9 for e-TDS/TCS return is available for the Indian version of Microsoft Dynamics AX

Indian New File validation Tool version (FVU) 4.9 it is mandatory to quote "Certificate number" for Form 26Q where concessional transactions under section 197 or 197A are flagged as "A" or "B":
  • Applicable for statements that pertain to FY 2015-16, Q3 onwards.
  • Declaration Under section 197A it is mandatory to mention 10 digit alpha numeric value for certificate number if transaction is flagged as "B", wherein first digit should be either "G" (in case of 15G) or "H" (in case of 15H) followed by 9 digit numeric value (For example, "G000000001" or "H000000001").
  • Declaration under Section 197 it is mandatory to mention 10 digit alphanumeric value for certificate number if, transaction is flagged as "A".

Resolution

This hotfix will provide option to you to capture Form 15G and Form 15H declaration details and also assign number so that it can be flown to e-TDS/TCs return. Certificate number can be link to vendor/customers.

You must have one of the following products installed to apply this hotfix:
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 SP1

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.

File information
