Assign a Message Format for a Specific Domain

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then double-click System Manager.
  2. Double-click Global Settings.
  3. Right-click Internet Message Formats, point to New, and then click Domain.
  4. On the General tab, in the Name box, type a descriptive name for the SMTP policy.
  5. In the SMTP domain box, type the Domain Name System (DNS) name of the domain to which the new policy applies.
  6. Click the Message Format tab, and then specify the message encoding and character sets that you want to use.
  7. Click the Advanced tab, and then set the advanced formatting options that you want to use.
  8. Click OK to create the policy. The policy is then applied to all mail that is delivered to the designated domain.
