After you install MS17-014: Description of the security update for Excel 2016: March 14, 2017 (KB3178673), the following Get & Transform features are available in Microsoft Excel 2016:
  • Enhanced SQL Server connector - Support for the SQL Failover option.
  • New transform - Horizontal list expansion.
  • ODBC and OLE DB connectors – Support the Select Related Tables function.
  • Enhanced folder connector – Support the Combine function from the Preview dialog box.
  • Unified text and CSV connectors.
  • The Change Type Using Locale option on Column Headers Type menus.
  • The Insert Step After option on the Steps pane.
