Lync 2011 for Mac doesn't automatically sign back in

Symptoms

On a computer that's running Microsoft Lync for Mac 2011, one of the following conditions occurs:
  • The computer switches between access points for its connection.
  • The computer is awakened from sleep mode.
In this scenario, the client may not automatically sign back in to Lync after the network connection is reestablished.

Resolution

To fix this issue, install the update for Lync for Mac 2011 14.3.3.
