Symptoms

If you use the Have replies sent to option in Microsoft Outlook, replies to an e-mail message may not reach all of the recipients.

For example:
  1. Log on as one user (for this example, User A1), and then compose a message that is addressed to another recipient (for this example, User B1). Click the Options button.
  2. In the Message Options dialog box, click to select the Have replies sent to check box, and then enter User A2 and User B2 as the users to whom you want replies sent.
After you do so, if User B1 opens the message and replies, only User A2 may receive the reply, even though the message appears to be addressed to "User A2; User B2."

This problem can occur either between two Exchange 2000 servers or on the same server between different storage groups.
