Symptoms

When you run the daily Sum.exe tool to create summaries of the log files from which the reporting engine creates reports, you may receive parsing errors in tools that were created to read the log files if users access a URL that contains a comma.

Cause

This problem occurs because commas are frequently used as field delimiters and can cause parsing errors in tools that are created to read log files; if users access URLs that contain commas, the URL may be logged in the Web proxy log files that are created by the Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) server.
