Symptoms

When you try to log on to Internet Explorer 11, the program crashes if you click "Cancel" or "Don't Allow" in a dialog box that prompts you for your credentials or a smart card PIN.

Resolution

To fix this problem, install the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer. To do this, go to Microsoft Update. Additionally, see the technical information about the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer.
