Memory leak after you append and remove iframe elements in Internet Explorer 11

Symptoms

When you use the removeChild or appendChild method for an iframe in Internet Explorer 11, this may trigger a memory leak. This issue occurs in a Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 environment.

Resolution

To fix this issue, install the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer. To do this, go to Microsoft Update. Additionally, see the technical information about the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer.
