After you install MS16-107: Description of the security update for Excel 2016: September 13, 2016, the following data connectivity and transformation features are available in Microsoft Excel 2016:
  • CSV connector user experience - support for fixed width columns.
  • Rename queries directly from the Workbook Queries task pane.
  • Command time-out user experience - support for the From Web connector.
