Improvements and fixes

Fixes the following issues:
  • After you insert large metafile images into a document in Visio 2016, the images may appear blurred, especially after you zoom in them. This update provides an optimization to improve rasterization and image resampling processes for you to see the metafiles in an appropriate resolution.

Note See the Registry information section for more information.
  • You may experience performance issues for workbooks that contain lots of shapes and graphics in Excel 2016. For example, scrolling may be slow and editing may freeze.
  • After you save a presentation as a video in PowerPoint 2016, the speaker icon is still displayed in the video even if the Hide During Show option is enabled.
  • After you copy and paste highlighted text from Word 2016 to a presentation in PowerPoint 2016, the highlighted text is displayed incorrectly.

Note If you set the value as 0 that's the default value, graphics rasterize the smallest portion of a metafile that it needs to display. If you set the value as a nonzero value, this optimization is disabled and the whole metafile is rasterized.
