Contact entries are not sorted alphabetically in a hierarchical address book in Outlook 2013

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

When you use an offline address book (OAB) in non-Japanese versions of Outlook 2013 in non-Japanese operation systems, and the address book is configured as a hierarchical address book (HAB) that does not have the SeniorityIndex value (sort order in the HAB) set, the contact entries are sorted by the creation date instead of alphabetically.
