Symptoms

When you use a Macintosh computer and Microsoft Internet Explorer to browse to a Web page created in Microsoft FrontPage, which contains a Snapview (Microsoft SnapShot Viewer) ActiveX control, the Snapview ActiveX control is not displayed as expected.

Cause

This behavior occurs because Macintosh computers do not support Snapview ActiveX control functionality.

The Microsoft Snapshot Viewer allows you to view a report snapshot without having Microsoft Access 97, Microsoft Access 2000, Microsoft Access 2002, or the run-time version of Access 97, Access 2000, or Access 2002 installed on your computer.
