Time frames in Social Engagement displayed incorrectly in Chrome

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

When opening Microsoft Social Engagement and navigating to the Analytics page or to the Activity Map, time frames for social data may be presented incorrectly, depending on your local time zone. This issue is reproducible in Google Chrome 46. It renders date strings with non-specified time parts by default to 00:00:00 local time zone, not as the local equivalent of 00:00:00 UTC. This causes an off-set in time for any given time frame by the amount of hours off-set from UTC.
