A new registry key is included in Windows Server
2003 to tune the default memory resources that are necessary for version store
in Jet transactions. The version store keeps a list of changes that are made to
the database since the latest transaction began. To tune memory resource that
is necessary for version store in Jet:
- Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
- Locate and click the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\TermServLicensing\Parameters
- On the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then add the following registry value:
Value name: MaxVerPages
Data type: REG_DWORD
Radix: Decimal
Value data: 1024
Range is from Minimum 256 to a Maximum: 2048
- Quit Registry Editor.
