This update applies to some reserved devices that are upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1). Before you install this update, see the Prerequisites section.

Prerequisites

To apply this update, you must have Windows Update Client for Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2: September 2015 installed in Windows 8.1. Or, install Windows Update Client for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2: September 2015 in Windows 7 SP1.

Note This update doesn't apply to computers that are running Enterprise edition.
