Symptoms

This issue occurs when you are a member of a distribution group that's created in Active Directory and you expand the distribution group in Microsoft Lync 2013 (Microsoft Skype for Business). When this issue occurs, your phone numbers (such as Work Phone number, Home Phone number, and Mobile Phone number) are missing by clicking Options > Phones. Here are the effects of missing these phone numbers:
  • If you are in a call, you can't transfer the call to a different device because no option is available to select the device.
  • If you are in a meeting, you can't rejoin it by selecting the Join Conference Call by Calling Me At option.

Resolution

To fix this issue, install the September 8, 2015 security update (KB3085500) for Lync 2013 (Skype for Business).

Note Lync 2013 was upgraded to Skype for Business in April 2015.
