Note This update adds a new AllowSavePassword GPO that can't be overridden. After you apply this update, the following conditions occur:
- If you set the value of the new GPO to 0, the Save Password check box will be hidden, and the password won't be saved by users themselves.
- If you set the value of the new GPO to 1, users will see and can change the Save Password check box. In this case, the existing SavePassword GPO will only affect the default state of the Save Password check box (default of unchecked if the existing SavePassword GPO is set to 0 and default of checked if the existing SavePassword GPO is set to 1).
