On October 13, 2015, Mainstream Support for Office Professional Plus 2010 for Office 365 subscribers ends. Starting on this date, Extended Support continues for the following licenses:
 
  • Retail
  • Volume licenses
You can use Office 365 together with any version of Microsoft Office that's in Mainstream Support. Installation links for Office 2010 will be removed from the Microsoft 365 admin center on October 13, 2015. We recommend that Office 365 subscription customers update their Office Professional Plus 2010 installations by uninstalling Office 2010 and installing Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise.

For customers who have Office 365 business subscriptions, there is no Extended Support. An Office software subscription license entitle you to use the current version of the software. This license doesn't include downgrade rights to older versions of the software.
