XL2000: Borders of AutoShape on Embedded Excel Chart Change Thickness When Printed

Symptoms

When you print an Excel chart that is embedded in another document, AutoShape borders appear thicker than they do if you print the same chart from Excel.

Cause

This problem occurs when you add an AutoShape to an embedded chart object, and you change the Weight setting of the AutoShape to 0 pt or 0.25 pt, to match the weight of the legend border.

Resolution

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

The English version of this fix should have the following file attributes or later. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
