Slow performance when attaching documents in Dynamics SL

Symptoms

When you use the Attachments feature in Microsoft Dynamics SL, you notice slow performance when attaching source documents for data items.

Cause

This problem occurs when the Preview feature is enabled.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, disable the Preview feature. To do this, follow these steps:

1. In the Modules list, click Administration.

2. In the System Manager pane, click Attachments Configuration under Maintenance.

3. Type the appropriate screen number in the Screen box and then press Tab.

4. Click to select the Disable Preview checkbox.

5. Click save, and then close the screen.
