Energy usage for Lync for Mac 2011 is increased on a MacBook Pro that has two graphic processing units exist


This issue occurs when you make an audio or video call in Microsoft Lync for Mac 2011 on a MacBook Pro. When this issue occurs, the discrete graphic chipset is constantly used instead of the integrated graphics chipset, and that may cause a pool battery life.

To resolve this issue, install the update for Lync for Mac 2011 14.1.1.
