Excel 2013 crashes when you use a keyboard shortcut to enter data

Symptoms

Microsoft Excel 2013 randomly crashes when you using a keyboard shortcut to enter data into a worksheet. In this situation, one or more of the following crash signatures is logged under Event ID 1000 in the Application log.

Cause

This problem occurs because the CTRL+D keyboard shortcut is incompatible with the Arial font.

Resolution
