FIX: SB-Messaging receive location doesn't retry after EndpointNotFoundException in BizTalk Server

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

When you use the Service Bus-Messaging adapter in Microsoft BizTalk Server and you receive EndpointNotFoundException because of unexpected processing, the corresponding receive location doesn't retry, and is disabled.

Cause

The issue occurs because BizTalk Server considers the EndpointNotFoundException as a critical error. Therefore, it disables the receive location without looking at the inner exception. However, the inner exception is sometimes transient. Therefore, these receive locations should be allowed to retry.
