How to apply the hotfix

  1. Back up the Microsoft.VirtualManager.UI.HardwareProperties.resources.dll file. You'll find this file in the %VMMINSTALLPATH%\bin\<Language> Virtual Machine Manager installation directory.
  2. Stop the Virtual Machine Manager Administrator Console.
  3. Extract the correct architecture and language version of Microsoft.VirtualManager.UI.HardwareProperties.resources.dll from the hotfix package, and then replace the file in the %VMMINSTALLPATH%\bin\<Language> directory.
  4. Restart the Virtual Machine Manager Administrator Console.
