Moscow time display is one hour ahead after the October 2014 update for Lync Phone Edition is installed

This issue occurs in the “Russian Standard Time (UTC+03:00) Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volgograd (RTZ2)" time zone when the date changes to the year 2015 in Microsoft Lync Phone Edition. When this issue occurs, Lync Phone Edition shows the time as, for example, 3 P.M. when the actual time is 2 P.M.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install one of the following cumulative updates:Note These cumulative updates create new Russian time zone entries and update the existing entries in Lync Phone Edition.
