When you edit a task in Business Portal Project Maintenance, an error occurs if there is more than one page of tasks for the project

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Business Portal for Microsoft Dynamics SL:

  • You open Project Maintenance.
  • You select a project that has more many tasks.  More tasks than will fit on one page.
  • You select a task and try to edit the task.

When you do this, you receive an error:

An exception in this application has occurred and been written to the Application Event log. Please see your system administrator for assistance.

Resolution

Hotfix information for Microsoft Dynamics SL
