FIX: Error 1219 (0x800704c3) when you use File Adapter together with alternate credentials in BizTalk Server

Symptoms

Assume that you use Microsoft BizTalk Server in Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2012 R2. When you try to use the File Adapter while you are using alternate credentials, you receive the following error messages:
Error 1219 (0x800704c3)

'The Messaging Engine failed to add a receive location "Receive Location1" with URL "\\fileservername\sharename\*.*" to the adapter "FILE". Reason: "The FILE adapter cannot access the network share using the supplied credentials. URL: \\fileservername\sharename\ Error: Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again. ". '

Cumulative update information

BizTalk Server 2013 R2

This issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update for BizTalk Server 2013 R2: Note This issue has a dependency on a Windows fix. You must also install update 3068441 or a later update for BizTalk 2013 R2 on a server that is running Windows Server 2012 R2.
