Symptoms

When you join to a Microsoft Access 2.0 workgroup information file (.mda) or to an Access 95 or 97 workgroup information file (.mdw) that has been converted from Access 2.0, and you then attempt to gain access to User and Group Permissions or User and Group Accounts, you may receive the following error message:
Record(s) cannot be read; no read permission on 'MSysAccounts'
This error message may also appear when you attempt to gain access to User and Group Permissions or User and Group Accounts after you convert an .mda file to an Access 95 or 97 .mdw file.
