Buttons are not displayed on sharing toolbar when you use full screen in a sharing session in Skype for Business

Symptoms

This issue occurs when you share a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation (PPT), an application, or a desktop in a meeting in Microsoft Skype for Business.

Note
  • The buttons for the presenter includes multiple features, such as stopping presenting or taking over the presentation.
  • The sharing toolbar will not appear until you rest your mouse on the bar.

Cause

This issue occurs because the context that Skype for Business uses to calculate the status of the buttons is incorrect.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the May 12, 2015, security update for Skype for Business.

Note Microsoft Lync 2013 is upgraded to Skype for Business from April 2015.
