Contact card appears when you click a URL that contains the "@" character in a received message in Skype for Business

When this issue occurs, a webpage to which a URL points cannot be opened in a browser. This issue occurs because the URL address that contains the "@" character is flagged as an email incorrectly.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the May 12, 2015, security update for Microsoft Skype for Business.

Note Microsoft Lync 2013 was upgraded to Microsoft Skype for Business in April 2015.
