Enhancement on generating the GST audit file in the Malaysian version of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics AX for the Malaysian (my) region.

Introduction

This hotfix is to mainly address the following issues to generate the GST audit file (GAF):
1. Move the Import declaration number field from PO header to the "Vendor Invoice" form, so that you can handle the scenario, where there are multiple import declaration numbers for one purchase order. 
2. Display the Import declaration number field in the Accounts payable > Inquiries > Journals > Invoice journal and enable you to modify the field.
3. Be able to generate "Purchase" or "Supply" records in GAF for invoices that are recorded through various journals.

Besides, some labels were original translated with "SST" in EN-MY. There are now correctly translated to "GST".

The changes in the hotfix enable this feature.

Prerequisites

You must have the Malaysian version of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 installed to apply this hotfix.

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.

File information

Details on the changes:

1. Remove the "Import declaration number" from purchase order, Header view. Add the same field to the "Vendor invoice" form. 
Navigation path: 
Accounts payable> Common > Purchase order > All purchase orders
Accounts payable> Common > Vendor invoice > Open vendor invoice
2. Add the same field to Accounts payable > Inquiries> Journals > Invoice Journals, and you are able to modify the "import declaration number" in the "invoice journal" form.
3. Be able to generate "Purchase" or "Supply" records in GAF for invoices recorded through various journals.
