About the .NET Framework 4.6 Targeting Pack

The .NET Framework 4.6 Targeting Pack is a package that enables developers to build applications targeting the .NET Framework 4.6 by using either Visual Studio 2013, Visual Studio 2012 or third-party IDEs. You have to download and install the .NET Framework 4.6 by downloading the web installer or stand-alone installer before you install the targeting pack.

  • The .NET Framework 4.6 Targeting Pack Language Packs: Contains the IntelliSense files to display help while you are building applications that target the .NET Framework 4.6 through Visual Studio and third-party IDEs.
