Exchange rates from "Bank of Lithuania" are incorrectly imported in the Lithuanian version of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 SP1

Symptoms

The import of exchange rates from "Bank of Lithuania" is incorrectly imported into AX after changing currency to EUR in the Lithuanian version of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 SP1.

Cause

Euro foreign exchange reference rates are based on a regular daily concentration procedure between central banks of the European System of Central Banks and other central banks, which takes place every working day at 3:15 p.m. (Lithuania's local time), and they reflect the foreign exchange market situation at the given moment. The rates are published on the European Central Bank's website by 4:00 p.m. (Lithuania's local time) and republished on Lietuvos bankas website.

That procedure has changed since 2014 when Litas exchange rates were published.

Resolution

The changes in the hotfix resolve this issue. After applying the hotfix, Lithuanian specific import of exchange rates uses Euro foreign exchange reference rates formed in accordance to the Law on Accounting.

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.
