Microsoft has released the latest update to Outlook for Mac for Office 365. This release is available to eligible Office 365 subscribers only.
This update provides the following improvements:
- Side-by-side calendars
- You can view up to three calendars side by side in Outlook for Mac. These calendars can be your calendar folders or calendars that are shared with you. When you select an additional calendar in the navigation pane, it is displayed in side-by-side mode instead of the overlay mode. You can use the organize ribbon button or the arrow icon on the tab to move the new calendar or to change the whole view to overlay mode. You can select a calendar by using the tab or the tab header to take additional actions such as creating an appointment or changing the default calendar color.
Note You must have permission to another user's calendar before you can open it in side-by-side or overlay mode in Outlook for Mac.
- Offline caching fixed for custom IRM templates.
- Various bugs and crash scenarios fixed.
- CPU usage improved.
- Time zone features and functionality improved.
- Scrolling and search performance improved.
