Capicom.dll may cause heap damage on multiple-processor computers

Symptoms

Capicom is a function set that is used with Web page operations for encryption and it is located in the Windows Software Development Kit (SDK). Under heavy usage, the computer detects damage in the heap, stack, or in other areas that are difficult to trace. The Dllhost program typically stops processing data and Web pages that are hosted by the computer may not respond. This symptom occurs only if Capicom.dll is running on the target computer.
