Reservation conflicts when you manage a virtual machine resource in a Windows cluster

Summary

When you're using Windows cluster to host virtual machine (VM) resources, and you select a VM resource in the Server Manager interface, reservation conflicts may occur on the storage array.

These reservation conflicts are harmless and don't adversely affect the functionality of the Windows cluster. These conflicts occur under the following circumstances: 
  • The management interface queries cluster disk resources to determine their status.
  • That query originates from a node that does not currently own that disk resource.
