Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You enable Lync 2013 Mobility.
  • You have Exchange Server 2010 deployed in your organization.
  • You log on to the Lync 2013 Mobile client.
In this scenario, you receive an instance of LS Storage Service event 32054 that resembles the following:
Logged event:
Log Name: Lync Server
Source: LS Storage Service
Date:
Event ID: 32054
Task Category: (4006)
Level: Error
Keywords: Classic
User: N/A
Computer:
Description:
Storage Service had an EWS Autodiscovery failure.
Note In this situation, event 32054 floods the Lync Front End server.
This issue occurs after Cumulative Update (CU1) is installed on the Lync Front End server together with the Microsoft Unified Communications Web API (UCWA) component. The Lync Mobile clients are logged in the OAuth request against an Exchange 2010 server, and this triggers event 32054 on the Lync Front End server. This behavior occurs because the OAuth method is not supported by Exchange Server 2010.
To resolve this issue, install the February 2015 Cumulative Update for Lync Server 2013 (Front End Server and Edge Server).
