Did you know that you can personalize your MSN experience? Manage history, favorites, and folders according to what works best for you. For accessibility options, see MSN Explorer: About MSN accessibility.
You can change the history list view to show web pages by the date they were last visited, alphabetically by website name, by the most visited, or chronologically by date and time.
- Select the View menu and then History.
- In the left pane, under History, select View, and then choose how you want to view the history list.
Clearing the history list will temporarily increase the available disk space on your computer and prevent others from seeing a list of the websites you have visited.
To clear the history list:
- Select the Help & Settings menu and then Settings.
- In the left pane, choose Internet options.
- Select Browsing history and then Yes.
You can organize your favorites in folders, and choose how you want your list of favorites to be sorted and displayed.
- On the navigation bar, select Favorites, and then Organize Favorites.
- Above the list, click Favorites or Last viewed to sort the list alphabetically or chronologically.
- On the navigation bar, select Favorites and then Organize Favorites.
- Under the name of the favorite you want to move, choose Move to folder.
- Select a folder name.
- Choose OK.
Note
To show the full web address of each favorite, select the Show web addresses (URLs) check box.
- On the navigation bar, select Favorites and then Organize Favorites.
- In the left pane, select Create a new folder.
- In the Name box, type a folder name and then select OK.
Note
To rename a favorite or folder, select it and then select Rename. Type a new name and then select OK.
