Changes in procedure of submitting Intrastat returns in Lithuania starting from the year 2015 is available in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 SP1, AX 2012 R2, and AX 2012 R3

The Intrastat report is used to report all physical movements of goods in the EU community. When goods are transferred between one company's warehouses that are located in different countries, the transfer transactions are also required to be included in the Intrastat declaration.

The procedure for submitting Intrastat returns in Lithuania is being changed due to adoption of euro currency in this country. The invoice value and statistical value in the Intrastat declarations and modified declarations, submitted by VAT payers for the reference period since the adoption of euro (1 January 2015) in the Republic of Lithuania will have to be indicated in the Intrastat declarations in euro. The IDAIS system will be updated to adapt it to the processing of the data in euro accepting the Intrastat declarations, submitted by VAT payers, in the xml files the structure of which corresponds to the instat.xml new data structure. The current modification is applicable for all Lithuanian companies and provides the possibility to create Intrastat declarations in new XML format.

In order to create Intrastat declarations in euro, the default company currency code should be configured accordingly (AX 2009 product: Basic -> Setup, Company information form; AX 2012 R2, AX 2012 R3 products: General ledger -> Setup, Ledger form).In order to apply new XML format for AX 2012 R2 and AX 2012 R3 products, the new IntrastatReport_LT_XML XSLT resource must be uploaded after this hotfix installation (Organization administration -> Setup -> Foreign trade, Foreign trade parameters form).
