This issue occurs after you apply update 3008923 in Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1), Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, or Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 (SP2).

Resolution

This issue is resolved in the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer. To install the cumulative security update for Internet Explorer, go to Microsoft Update. Additionally, see the technical information about the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer.

Note This update was first made available on Microsoft Update Catalog by searching for KB3025945. It is now replaced by security update February 10, 2015 security update for Internet Explorer (MS15-009).
