Summary

You can create an image on a Web page that is replaced by another image when the pointer is moved over the image. The original image is displayed once again when the pointer is moved off the image. This article explains how to create this swap image effect.

Create a Swap Image Effect

Follow these steps with any existing image to create the swap image effect:
  1. Start Microsoft FrontPage, and then open a FrontPage Web that contains a picture.
  2. Click the picture to select it.
  3. On the Format menu, click Dynamic HTML Effects.
  4. On the DHTML Effects toolbar, click the Choose an event drop-down arrow, and then click Mouse over.
  5. Click the Choose an effect drop-down arrow, and then click Swap Picture.
  6. Click the Choose Settings drop-down arrow, and then click Choose picture.
  7. Select a picture, and then click OK.
For more information about adding pictures to a Web page, click Microsoft FrontPage Help on the Help menu, type import picture in the Office Assistant or the Answer Wizard, and then click Search to view the topics returned.
