Symptoms

Microsoft Dynamics CRM Insights solution version 3.3 or earlier does not work properly after upgrading to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015.

Cause

The minimum required solution version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Insights for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 is version 3.4. Any earlier version will not work properly and is not supported.

Resolution

1. Uninstall the previous Microsoft Dynamics CRM Insights solution. 
 a. Navigate to Settings, Customizations, and Solutions

 b. Select the previous Insights solution that is being used, and select X to delete the solution  


2. Install the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Insights version 3.4 solutionfor Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015



Note: This has no impact to service account setup and it will not be necessary to repeat the steps to setup service account.
