FIX: Cannot set an attached property by using a style in an SWE application for Windows Embedded Compact 2013

This article describes an issue that occurs when you set an attached property by using a style in a Microsoft Silverlight for Windows Embedded (SWE) application for Windows Embedded Compact 2013. Before you install the update, all previously issued updates for this product must be installed.

Symptoms

Assume that you have an SWE application that is running on a Windows Embedded Compact 2013-based device. You cannot set or get an attached property by using a style when the property has been registered by using the RegisterAttachedProperty API. Other attached properties such as Grid.Row or conventional dependency properties that are registered by using RegisterDependencyProperty work as expected.

After you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To do this, use one of the following methods:
  • On the Build menu, click Clean Solution, and then click Build Solution.
  • On the Build menu, click Rebuild Solution.
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this software update.
