FP2000: You Cannot Insert GIF Image from the Tutorial

Symptoms

When you use the Getting Started with FrontPage tutorial, and you attempt to insert a Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) file, you may be unable to locate the default image (fp2000).

Cause

This behavior can occur if the tutorial is moved from its default location.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
1.Start FrontPage.
2.On the Insert menu, point to Picture, and then click From File.
3.Browse to the following folder:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Tutorial
NOTE: If you cannot find the Tutorial folder by using this path, follow these steps:

a. Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files or Folders.
b. In the Named box, type Tutorial.
c. In the Look In box, click My Computer.
d. Click Find Now.
NOTE: If these steps do not locate the Tutorial folder, follow these steps:

a. Insert your FrontPage 2000 CD-ROM.
b. Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files or Folders.
c. In the Named box, type Tutorial.
d. Right-click the Tutorial folder, and then click Copy.
e. Right-click a blank space on your desktop, and then click Paste.
f. Remove the FrontPage 2000 CD-ROM.
4.Start the tutorial.
