More Information

When you run desktop Internet Explorer, Adobe Flash uses Win32 APIs based on the GDI constructs. The approach is blocked in the application container, that has a new XPS print path. The new XPS print path does not support GDI's. The modern print mode is scoped to immersive mode only, and is already used by Internet Explorer. The only option to make it work is to convert the GDI operations in flash applications to D2D.
